What is the average wait time for wedding photos in NYC? Interviews with some of the best wedding photographers in New York City We asked some of the best wedding photographers in NYC how long it took on average for their clients to see their wedding photos: “I usually post some images on social […]
“They usually get a preview of 100 photos within a week so they don’t have to wait too long. The rest of the 1500-2500 edited photos they will receive within 3 -4 more weeks, and they will receive them on an online gallery to view, share, and download.”
“The week following a wedding, I post a sneak peek (around 60 pictures) on my blog. All photographs are ready, retouched and available for digital download within a month.”
“Images are available to the client 4 weeks after the day of the shoot. After that, another discussion is made between me and the client to produce the wedding album of their dreams. The photoshopping, editing, and printing of the album normally takes another three weeks. I think the quality of a final product is extremely important, especially creating a product that will take the bride’s breath away. With that philosophy, I do not offer quick batch editing.”
“I deliver a few ‘select’ images the day after the wedding and, while I tell clients that they’ll have their photos within the month, I usually deliver all the images within two weeks.”
“Clients usually start to see sneak peeks of their shoot within 24-48 hours. I constantly post little teaser shots that are some of my favorites during the shoot whilst I’m editing. For a full gallery (engagement), it takes typically 5-7 weeks and for weddings usually 12-16 weeks depending on the season.”
