“Ensure the deadline is clearly noted on the RSVP card, and try to stay away from abbreviations.  Having alternate ways to reply can also make it easier for guests to reply in a timely manner too.  Also, ensure guests have enough time to RSVP.”

“When planning a wedding, an RSVP is a simple detail that can have an enormous impact on the outcome of the big day for a couple. Not only does your RSVP affect a couple’s budget, but it allows the couples to make the necessary decisions they need to make throughout the planning process.”

“Getting guests to RSVP is always a tricky thing. Unless you’re there putting on the pressure you can’t really do anything to encourage them to RSVP. One trick would be to put your RSVP date a bit earlier than you actually needed to be so that you’re not sitting and waiting. Of course, when you have a Wedding Planner it’s something that they likely do ( calling your late RSVP guests ) and getting the information. But when it comes down to it you simply just need to apply some patience and wait for all those fun notes back in the mail.”
