Where have you been featured?
Jwayne Productions is featured at multiple venues as their preferred video vendor, as well as winning the WeddingWire Couples Choice awards in 2015 & 2016.
Why do couples love working with you?
I think couples love working with us because we take the time to educate our couples about how our process works. We like to learn about who they are and how they fell in love to use that to tell our stories. We like to give couples peace of mind when they hire us and we let our work speak for itself.
What do you love most about filming weddings?
My favorite thing about filming weddings has got to be when I show them a small clip of the shot I just took, and to see their faces light up thinking “there’s no way that’s me/us”. And when I see how excited they get watching the completed film and how it brings back all the emotions, that makes my day.
How did you get started?
Well, I was the friend who had a camera, and I sort of just filmed everything me and my friends did. We filmed some pretty dumb stuff but I was always known as that ‘film guy’.
One day my friend’s sister was getting married and asked if I could film their wedding. I was super scared and I think I only charged like $300 and had three shooters with me. I used the money I made to buy some extra equipment for the shoot because I wanted it to be perfect. The client LOVED their video so much they recommended me to their friend who was getting married. It just kind of went like a snowball effect from there until 9 years later, here we are!
What 3 words best describe your company?
Creative, easy, affordable.
What budget range do you cater to?
We cater to a range of services. From $1700 – $4500 for video alone.
What is your favorite part of the wedding day to film?
My favorite part of the day to film has got to be Prep. I love showing the beauty of the details of your day, and listening to letters you both write. Seeing the build-up of anticipation and emotion is just overwhelming and exciting!
Highly recommend! We found Jwayne productions just a few months before and Josh came in and met with us face to face. We didn’t have the “traditional” requests. We got married out of the country but wanted our reception here videoed. Josh 100% customized everything to make it work for us without the ceremony. I am so pleased with the video. It exceeded my expectations. Communication was exactly what you would want and expect. My questions were always answered and I was never left sitting wondering when I would hear back. They showed up on time and worked hard during our entire reception. I can promise you if you hire Jwayne Productions you will not be disappointed. (Video link: https://vimeo.com/261037207)
I definitely recommend Jwayne Productions! We hired him for our wedding videography, and he exceeded our expectations. He’s very nice, professional, and his work product is fantastic! He not only captured the special moments and the details, but also put it all together artfully to make a great story of our special day. I’m so glad we chose him for our wedding! I couldn’t be more pleased! ( Video Link: https://vimeo.com/274925679 }
My husband and I got married this past November and having Jwayne Productions document our day was one of the best decisions we could have made for our wedding.
It’s easy to feel bombarded with tasks for a wedding and the list seems endless. Thankfully, my mother-in-law found Josh when we had no idea who to choose for our videographer. We met with him at this office in Pearland 6 months before our wedding and he walked us through everything that he would be doing and what to expect. And the videos he shared spoke for themselves. He was great. We made the decision to hire him for our videography as well as photography. I think this is very important. You want to have people who know how to work together. The videographer needs to get the best shot possible and the photographer needs to be on the same page. And Jessica, the photographer, did not disappoint. Both of them were truly amazing. The day of our wedding, they were both so nice and walked us through what we needed to do. Jessica even helped me put my eyelashes on! haha.
Another very important note is the timeline. Josh was so on top of things once our wedding had passed. We were still on our honeymoon when He had already put together our 1st look and wedding highlight video! Being newlyweds, you get so anxious wanting to see details of your special day that you have not have been able to see first hand. Josh did an amazing job at editing and making the video! The photos did take a little while longer, but that is expected. We had over 700 photos to look through and admire when they were done editing! (Video Link: https://vimeo.com/243387366)
