Each & Every Detail is a small wedding planning firm I started in 2006 and has grown to have offices in both McKinney and Dallas. We’re a fun-loving group that advocates for their couples so they can have the wedding of their dreams.

What types of weddings do you specialize in?
We love weddings of all types! Because we are not wholly design focused, we’ve worked with everything from vintage to modern, rustic to elegant and just plain quirky! When a couple wants to do something different, we get excited as we love a challenge!
Why do couples love working with you?
Education is key for couples on knowing what their options are and what will best fit them and their wedding day vision. Couples love working with us because we make sure they have the knowledge they need to make the best decisions. We also like to have fun while guiding our clients through the wedding planning process and I think they really enjoy our positive attitudes and the calm we bring to the table.
What do you love most about being a wedding planner?
For me, I love meeting and working with my clients. I love spending time with them, getting to know then and figuring out what really makes them happy. Turning that around into something tangible for their wedding day and seeing that smile or look of amazement on their face on wedding day just gives me joy!
How did you get started?
I started my career in the wedding industry as a wedding venue manager, doing everything from sales to planning to coordination for all of the events at that venue. I fell in love with weddings and quickly dove in advocating for the couples I worked with and educating them on their options. While I worked at the venue I went to two different wedding planner training courses, earning my Certified Wedding Planner status and used that to start my business, Each & Every Detail. Since then, I’ve grown from a Certified Wedding Planner working by herself to a team of 6 and I’m now a Certified Master Wedding Planner. I’m also the Vice President of the American Association of Certified Wedding Planners and will be the President starting in January 2017.
What budget range do you cater to?
We try not to focus on the budget too much, but most of our clients fall in the “average” range of $20,000-60,000. We still have clients in the $10,000-15,000 range and some that are in the $100,000+ category. For us, it’s more about the personalities of the couple and what their wedding day vision is, more than their budget is, that makes us a great fit for them.
What typically happens at the beginning of the process when someone contacts you?
Whenever we are contacted by a couple, we ask lots of questions! We invite them to sit down with us in a complimentary consultation so we can get to know each other and what they are wanting for their wedding day, as well as what level of help they desire. This allows us to guide them to a package or service level that best suits them. We customize our rates depending on the services that are needed, so at the consultation, we can give them a proposal including everything they’ve asked for.
As a control freak, it is hard to let go of all the planning and details. Our wedding planner immediately gained my trust with her wealth of knowledge in planning and her attention to detail.

The smartest wedding decision I made was hiring Each & Every Detail. They have a large knowledge of wedding vendors. They listened to my daughter’s vision, made short lists of vendors that matched my daughter’s ideas, and guided us through the maze. They kept us on track with timing and budget.
