Each couple we work with is unique and we solemnly focus on them and their wedding needs, no matter how many weddings we are planning at a given time. We take care of our couples and take pride in knowing each and every single detail of our couples wedding.

What do you love most about being a wedding planner?

Being a Wedding Planner gives me the opportunity to connect with couples on a whole other level. I get to create magic each and every time I plan a wedding. There is nothing more fulfilling then organizing an event that celebrates love, family, and togetherness on such an important day for couples. I am so blessed to work with couples who value and appreciate what I do as a Wedding Planner, knowing we are right by their side to assist them with their dream is something I cannot really put in words. I really do love what I do!

How did you get started?

I began working in the Wedding & Event industry at a very young age. I worked closely as an executive assistant for a catering company for a few years prior to venturing out into the Wedding industry as an event planner. My background in food, beverage, and fashion provided me with all of the qualities and experience I would need to venture out on my own.

We work with all budgets

What typically happens at the beginning of the process when someone contacts you?

I love getting to know my prospect clients; I say this because no matter if you are coming in to find out if we’re a good fit, I want to ensure we leave a lasting impression. We value your time and the opportunity given to meet with us. I like to take my time with everyone; we do not rush your experience to meet with us. I want each person who visits us to be relaxed and feel invited, know that you`re in great hands and we`ll take care of you. And when you’re ready to move forward that is when the real magic happens!

Initially we thought that we could plan a wedding on our own, but we discovered quickly that aside from the fact that the groom was busy running his company, and aside from the fact that we’re both notorious procrastinators (hence it took us four months to write this review after our wedding), the planning process also proved to be very overwhelming and stressful. We did secure a date and venue on our own, as well as a band and invitation design, but with the date just a few months away we hadn’t yet planned much else. So finally we decided that we needed a wedding planner, and we found Diana from Truly Yours Planning on Wedding Wire.

From the moment we met Diana, we knew she was the right choice for us. We met with other wedding planners as well, but Diana was the most professional, confident, and detail-oriented of the bunch. She got to work immediately upon us hiring her, and in no time she introduced us to some incredibly talented people, including a photography/cinematography company, and a decorator. Diana’s experience and organizational skills are for sure two of her biggest strengths. She scheduled all of our appointments for us and booked them back-to-back whenever possible to save us time. She very quickly understood our vision in terms of design and was able to relay it with ease to the decor company, who then were very quick and efficient in showing us samples that matched what we wanted. Diana also made herself available for all of our vendor appointments to make sure we understood everything and that no detail was missed, and she was great at asking questions that we wouldn’t have even thought to ask because she knew what we were looking for.
